Outlaw Laws
May 18, 2008

bikeWatch our report

Reporter: Adam Shand

New laws banning association among individuals in bike gangs have been passed in South Australia. The first of their kind in Australia, many are calling them unjust and discriminatory.

The new laws, which would enable the Attorney-General and Police Commissioner, Mal Hyde, to declare any group a criminal organisation mean bike groups now have to decide whether to fight the laws or disband their clubs.

Sunday's Adam Shand goes inside several bike gangs including the Finks, the Coffin Cheaters and the Descendants to find out what effect the laws will have on them and what they plan on doing in response.
