Australian mining companies have enjoyed boom times recently and they're looking to new sites all over the world to meet the global demand for metals. One of the biggest is in the southern Philippines, where Indophil, from Melbourne, has now been joined by the Queensland firm, Xstrata, in opening up a huge deposit of copper and gold. It’s on the island of Mindanao, home to rebels and extremists. It's alleged that was where the bombs were made which blew up two restaurants in Bali last year. Sunday looks at whether the local people have been misled about who really owns the mine and what the repercussions will be if they have been misled.
