Seventeen years ago Anthony Warlow broke Australian box office records with his performance in Phantom of the Opera.
He performed the lead role for over a year then and is now back about to launch another season. Already the tickets are flying out the box office with over 250,000 pre-sold.
This is a new record which will no doubt be broken in the coming months.
Warlow's motivation for returning to his signature role is to show his 13-year-old-daughter, Phoebe, how he made his name.
Since that last production Warlow has fallen victim to cancer and successfully recovered. He's now back and full of energy, wanting to entertain audiences and show he's lost none of his drive and talent.
